About Us

Josephine’s Stories was founded in March 2020 in Plymouth, by Josephine Helen, and was born out of a love for storytelling and a passion to help others.

Josephine’s Stories started with original tales which were performed on YouTube, and has since grown into an established business with well-being at the heart of all we do.

At Josephine’s Stories we tell tales that really matter - from understanding depression, grief, the environment, COVID -19 and much, much more.

We show children through our work that education goes further than the subjects you’re taught at school, that everyone is capable of achieving their dreams, surpassing their goals (no matter the size), and that although we are all beautifully different, you’re never alone.

All of our stories are read on our YouTube channel by a range of talented actors and British Sign Language interpreters, we ensure we use the best performers in the business to tell our special stories & we research each topic extensively, speaking to those who have experienced it first hand - so you’re getting a truthful insight into what these subjects are really all about.

We provide additional services of educational workshops, live story telling and bespoke stories around the South West, we have a base in Plymouth and Torbay. If you would like a booking further afield - please do get in touch.

So far in our short time of operating we have worked with the television and West End star Shobna Gulati, the nation wide charity Grief Encounter, have been interviewed by Sky News and we are supported by The Prince’s Trust. As well as working with local venues and schools to bring theatre and creative learning to the community.
